At $50, this is a relatively cheap plug-and-go solution to your small air purification needs. It is specially designed to purify small areas and is not suitable to purify the large spaces of your home – unless you buy a number of units, which is not out of the question, considering the reasonable price. It does a good job in individual rooms – cleaning out cooking odours in the kitchen, removing cigarette smoke, relieving allergy symptoms, pet smells, for example. You could move the unit from room to room, according to your individual “odour situation”. If the cat litter is starting to smell, move the Ionic Pro to that part of the house, for instance.

It has a number of nice features, such as it’s low power consumption or energy efficiency. It is really convenient that you don’t have to change the filters, like you do with other purifier types. The Ionic Pro employs a collection rod that traps the impurity in the air, meaning that you don’t have to spend extra money down the road on those filter replacements. I also liked the easy one-touch operation.
